We’re just 5km from the centre of Mudgee, NSW—close to wineries, restaurants, and attractions, yet far enough to feel like a private country escape.
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request.
Yes! Tom’s Cottage and Wilgowrah Church are pet-friendly. Gawthorne’s Hut is not suitable for pets due to its open setting and native wildlife.
Yes, all three retreats offer complimentary Wi-Fi so you can stay connected—though we recommend switching off to truly enjoy the peace and quiet.
We provide a selection of premium teas, plunger coffee, and fresh single-source milk in all stays. While breakfast is not fully catered, Mudgee’s cafés and bakeries are just minutes away.
Yes, but coverage may vary depending on your provider—Telstra tends to have the best signal in our area.
Just yourselves and your overnight bag. All linen, towels, and basic amenities are provided, along with firewood, cooking equipment, and quality essentials.
Yes, there is free on-site parking at each accommodation.

Yes, all three stays have fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and outdoor areas including a Weber gas BBQ.
Wilgowrah’s retreats are designed for two adults and are not suitable for children.
Wilgowrah is not currently available for large functions or weddings, but it’s perfect for a romantic getaway, anniversary, or special celebration for two.

Wilgowrah is located just 5km from Mudgee township, making it easy to access while still feeling wonderfully secluded. Each stay has its own private access and parking, and once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send through clear directions and arrival details to ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival.

During Your Stay
Your time at Wilgowrah is all about slowing down and enjoying the space around you. We invite guests to explore the property using the designated walking tracks, take in the views along Lawson Creek, and enjoy the peace and privacy that comes with staying on a working farm.
Wildlife is part of everyday life here—kangaroos, wombats, and birdlife are regular visitors—so we ask that guests admire them from a distance. Fire pits are provided for your enjoyment and are fully stocked with firewood; please follow the simple fire safety guidelines provided and ensure fires are fully extinguished before turning in for the night.
