Stargazing in Mudgee: What you’ll see from Wilgowrah

If you’re the type of person who loves to bundle up next to a fire and gaze at the stars, Wilgowrah is the place for you. Because Mudgee has minimal light pollution and due to our proximity from town, our 480-acre property offers expansive views of the night sky.

Each one of our properties (Tom’s Cottage, Gawthorne’s Hut & Wilgowrah Church) has a private fire pit as well as a telescope that’s perfect for gazing at the night sky.

If you’d like an even closer look at our solar system, you can also make a booking to visit the Mudgee Observatory located at 961 Old Grattai Road.
